Philadelphia Cream Cheese Choc Chip Cookies

Beautiful flavour and textured Cookies

Cream Cheese makes a beautiful cookie. These were made with Philadelphia Strawberry Cream Cheese which give the biscuit a subtle Strawberry aroma and flavour they're delicious.  You can use regular Cream Cheese if you'd like the Strawberry flavouring just add two teaspoons of Strawberry extract. Makes approx 40 small cookies.

Strawberry Cream Cheese and Choc Chip Cookies


  • 2 1/2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 250g Philadelphia Cream Cheese Strawberry. Softened.
  • 1 cup Castor Sugar
  • 1 cup Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Egg
  • 100g Butter Softened


  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line cookie trays with baking paper.
  • Sift the Flour and baking powder
  • In a Mixer cream the Butter, Cream Cheese and Sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • Add the egg and mix well
  • Slowly add the Flour to the mixer and combine well.
  • Remove from the mixer and fold in the Choc Chips
  • Take a couple of handfuls of cookie dough and roll into a cylinder shape when its about three centimeters in diameter slice into approximately 1cm thick rounds.
  • Bake for approximately 12 mins.  Just until the edges start to change colour.  These dont go golden like regular cookies so you want to catch them soon as the edges change colour.
