  2. Not So Slow Coaches
  3. Flatbeds of Fear
  4. Disappearing Diesels
  5. Toad's Adventure
  6. Duck and the Slip Coaches
  7. Missing Gator

Its been a while since we have watched Thomas but it was just as exciting as always.

Our picks of the episodes were

Thomas the Quarry Engine. Thomas reluctantly minds the Quarry and has to deal with some naughty trucks.

Disappearing Diesels. Poor Paxton has a joke played on him and thinks all the Diesel engines are disappearing.

Missing Gator. Percy is missing his friend Gator and loses the trucks in a mine and he remembers Gator told him to be brave so he goes in to rescue.

We do love how the episodes are separated with different little bonus feature segments.

Mr Perkins is lovely and there are quizzes and games.

Just over 80 mins of entertainment.

Really quite fun and i'm sure a Thomas Fan would love this DVD.

Living in Canberra means we do not have many train ride options, last school holidays we went from Canberra to Bungendore on a steam train, it is an activity that they set up everyschool holiday

We travelled to Central station during rail safety week to ride the steam train they had there. My 2 boys LOVED it.

we caught a train to the next town 10 minutes away, played at the park, then caught the train home again. Our little man loves trains so it wasn't so much about the destination but the ride.

Last time I caught the train was in December to take bub into Myer for the gift emporium launch. It was her first time on a train and she was NOT a fan at all, so we haven't been on one since. Its ironic because she LOVES Thomas and toy trains {not so much real ones full of peak hr commuters though}.

The last time I travelled on a train was with my family in Thailand. Overnight on a sleeper train from Bangkok to Chiang!

The last time we booked tickets on the train was to go and see The Lion King in Melbourne. The trip was a present to each other for Christmas (sure beats a million toys!).
After waiting 4 months for the time to come and were at the train station ready to board with Nanny,Pa, my son, my sisters, nieces& nephews. Then an announcement came over;"The 7.30 train has now been changed to a bus, boarding at coach terminal1." How disappointing! Instead of the train, where we could turn and talk to each other,we were loaded onto a bus, with not many seats left.We were spread throughout the bus! Boo hoo!
We did end up going on the train for about half an hour at the end of our 4 hour trip though-but on a city train, so a little different. And in our rush, we boarded the 'Quiet' section of the train, where noise was to be kept to a minimum-ha!
We were excited to be going on the train for our return trip. Alas,it wasn't meant to be! The bus again!

Our last train ride was on a miniature railway set up in a family friends backyard (yes backyard!). Our 2yr old is a massive fan of trains and any other form of transport so this was a HUGE hit with him.
We took videos (of course) and showed them to him when we got home on the tv. Now he will point to the tv and say "me toot toot" and that's his way of asking to watch the video again...for the millionth time :)

Last time I was on a train was our yearly trip to the qvb to see santa! We are going to go to trainworks to see thomas himself and have a ride on a steam train in September! I have a little train obsessed nearly 2 year old who will be beside himself with excitement when we go!

The last time I sat on the train with my 2 month old son was on the way to Sydney Olympic Park for the Sydney Baby Expo, it was the most stressful and embarrassing ride of my life. While breastfeeding cranky bub, he did a massive poo that stained his clothes and I had to change him despite glares from passengers as he refused to stop screaming from discomfort. It was really 'Trouble on the Tracks' alright!
