This slice is Nut and Egg Free. There is also no added sugar.

This is a great slice for the kids to help make! 

INGREDIENTS

4 Weetbix Crushed (1 cup. I save the bits in the bottom of the packet)

1 Cup Desiccated Coconut

1 Cup Self Raising Flour

2 Tablespoons Milo or Cocoa

½ Cup Sultana

1 Tablespoon Chia seed

¾ Cup water

125g Butter

METHOD

Pre heat oven 170 degrees fan forced.

Add the Chia seeds to the water in your cup (or whatever you are using) and stir it. Leave the seeds to become gel like whilst you make the rest of the slice.

Mix together in a large bowl your Weetbix, Coconut and Flour.

Stir through the Milo and Sultanas.

Melt the butter in Microwave or Stove and then tip into dry ingredients.

Add the Chia Mixture and mix well. I use my hands to mix up to make sure its well combined.

Pat firmly into a baking paper lined tin and bake at 170 degrees Celsius for 20 -25 mins. You want it to be golden not browning. 

Wait for it to cool before slicing.

Can be wrapped in portions and frozen
