Rice Bubbles Rice Krispies Marshamallow Slice

Rice Bubbles or Rice Krispies i don’t care long as they are with Marshmallows

Rice Bubbles! they are always in my cupboard yet no one eats them for breakfast. I tend to just bake with them they are perfect for that.  Rice Bubble slice is always a favourite you can make it all fancy schmancy and you can add lots to it but sometimes you just need the plain Marshmallow treat to satisfy :)

Here is a fast way to make this Rice Bubble Slice, get the kids involved in stirring (expect Rice Bubbles on the floor).

Rice Bubbles Treat Slice

Ingredients

100g butter softened

1 tablespoon water

3 cups Marshmallows

3 cups Rice Bubbles

Method

Line a Lamington tin (or 30cmx 20cm rectangle tin with sides) with baking paper.

In a large microwavable bowl add all your marshmallows and the tip the water and softened butter on top

Microwave on med high for 30 secs then remove and stir if they have started melting great cautiously melt in 15 sec increments.  You don’t want to melt them in the microwave completely just soften them and stir in between they will melt each other.

Soon as you have melted marshmallows almost smooth liquid pour in your rice bubbles and stir quickly but gently.

Pour into tin and press down with spoon.  You want them to stick together not to crush them together.

Top with some sprinkles and allow to cool completely.

Cut into squares.

This slice is best eaten on the day!

The Rice Bubbles will lose their Snap Crackle and Pop after that.

This is such a great recipe (and far cheaper than buying LCM bars!!). I actually have some marshmallows in the cupboard I need to use up, so this will be perfect! Thank you so much for linking up with our Fabulous Foodie Fridays party xxx

Awesome Bel. I've always wondered how to make these. I'm going to be popular in my house very soon! Pinned, as I think I can 'Frozen' these up for Summers birthday party too. Thanks :)
