"The Worlds Worst Children "  Review

Well!!   As the back the cover suggests "Do Not Read This Book"

The Worlds Worst Children   by David Walliams

Dont get me wrong my kids LOOOOVE it,  I however am admitting i have turned into a boring old adult and this book is not for boring adults.

It reminds me a little of Roald Dahls Revolting Rhymes and books that would gross me out but still i'd laugh hysterically at when i was kid.  Just perhaps taken to the next level.

Any story about head lice makes your head itch but how about a boy who is delighted he has nits and then they multiple till he has a tornado of nits that torments the town?  You're scratching your head arent you?

I actually felt ill whilst reading Dribbling Drew to the kids.  They were in hysterics i was gagging.  This character makes the Worst Children book because he floods a museum with drool.  urk!  i can't even keep going with that.

Windy Mindy, Peter Picker and Grubby Gertrude you can image the stories on these characters can't you ?

This book is pretty revolting, funny but ridiculous.   My kids were delighted and loved every story.  They were laughing and loved their mother squirming  or rolling her eyes with ridiculousness whilst reading them these horrible tales.

Another very clever, engrossing and just plain grossing book from David Walliams . It is pretty easy to read, my 8 year old is reading it confidently. It has lots of word art and stories brought to life with brilliant illustrations by Tony Ross.

My children can't wait for his next book.    (I can wait a little longer)
